yes , I used to absolutely LOVE The Wedding Present - they were my favourite band for years ! Fantastic live - so much energy , and really witty lyrics as well . Plus of course the fastest guitar playing I have ever heard !
Dave Gedge formed Cinerama after the Weddoes split , but recently started recording again under the name of The Wedding Present , with a new album called Take Fountain . They have also recently put out a collection of Peel Session recordings .

The Wedding Present was the first Indie band to be signed to a major label. They're still around and played MCR students union last year. Bizzaro is my fav album

George best,bizzarro,kennedy,flying saucer,too many to say.
Love the weddoes,seen them too many times.No guitar band
sound like them.(all are songs sound the same!)
