She maid Xiao Mei was the surrogate mother. The last episode of the second season, Gabby found out that Carlos and Xiao Mei was having an affair. And then I missed the couple first episodes in season 3 and all I knew next is that Gabby was trying to keep Carlos out of the house during the divorce proceedings. But no mention of Xiao Mei and the baby up until the latest episode I watched. So what happened? If possible please tell me in detail. I'm just so curious to know now.

Yep, it was supposed to be Gabby's egg and Carlos' sperm... but when Xiao Mei delivered the baby they saw that it was a black/african-american baby. Gabby was ready to sue the fertility doctor!! It was funny! LOL

The Solises are divorcing because Gabrielle caught Carlos doing it with their maid. Their maid ended up having the baby, but it turned out that the doctor put in some other couple's embryo so the baby was black. i'm not sure what happened to it because Gaby and Carlos didn't come home with it; i guess it went to the original couple. who knows? anyway, Bree got married to Orson, Susan's dentist friend and Mike woke up from his coma.

Gaby found Carlos in the garage with Ming Lei (the maid and surrogate of their baby) so she threw him out. She made her stay until the baby was born. When the baby was born it was an African -American. The doctor explained that she was accidentally implanted with the wrong embryo. Gaby left the hospital furious. Carlos is living alone in an apartment and Gaby is suing him for divorce.

ok.she was miscarriged after falled from the ladder bcoz wearing a very tight dress and she and carlos try to make a baby via IVF unfortunaly therev was a mistake that make the sperms accidently changed with some black sperms coz a wrong baby was born

The baby turned out to be black - therefore, not Carlos'. Apparently the maid got around.
