why do so many people with red/orange hair have the name tammy?

I've only ever known one Tammy, and she was blonde.

I know (did know in school) 3 Tammy's - 2 had blonde hair and one very dark brown. Have never met anyone with red hair called Tammy
I always think a lot of people with red/ginger hair are called Jenny or Julie!!!

It may seem that way to you. You may have encountered more than one Tammy and they all had red/orange hair. I have a cousin Tammy who is blonde, a friend Tammi who is brunette (her hair is also frosted, so it looks sort of blonde), and I went to school with a strawberry blond named Tami. As you can see they spell their names differently. I don't know any redheads named Tammy.

That's interesting I never noticed that, I am gonna pay more attention and see how many red/orange haired Tammy's I can find.I would say that is just a coincidence.how ever I have noticed alot of blonds named Amanda and red haired boys named Paul or Daniel and I know a bunch of brunettes named Samantha. Its neat to think about!

This probably will not give you any help but I think so many red/orange headed people have the name Tammy because it kinda suits them if you know what i mean (you probably won't though).

I don't know any red/orange hair women with the name Tammy. It just must be where you are from...maybe something in the water.....??

my cousin's name is Tammy and she has strawberry blonde hair... my boyfriend's cousin, Tammy, and red hair... never made that connection before. don't know too many other Tammy's though

wow, i remember having this neighbor named Tammy and she had this red hair and wore these long red fingernails. She was the crazy cat lady in my neighborhood too. She had like 50 cats

well, my mom's name is Tammy, and she has brown hair. and i dont know anyone with red hair and the name tammy so...i dont know.
