Does anyone know the name of the band that made a record called "beautiful world"???Think it was a band from the nineties!they had quite a few hits and the bloke had a really weird(but good) voice!!!He sounds like a cross between morrisey,ozzy osbourne and pete perret(the only ones)Any answers appreciated!!!

Do you mean GS Megaphone? Suits the style of music you're suggesting....was in 2003 though
It could be Big Head Todd and the Monsters, similar vocal style and mid-90s.
I don't think either had 'hits' though - so it might be RATM, though I can't see that the vocals are anything like Morrissey/Ozzy.
EDIT: If it's "beautiful life", I'll bet that you mean Everclear :)
and 'beautiful day' could be Bush, is another idea.
