Hi I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my husband has saved up his sick time and vacation time to take off a little extra with me. He also has a very busy schedule and works quite a ways from me so it makes it difficult and I'm so nervous about him being able to be there when 'it' happens. I would say that when you get a little further along like 36 weeks or so and your doctor starts checking you to see if you're dialating and getting ready to maybe see about scheduling it then, you may even want to discuss a scheduled induction if nothing is happening around 39 weeks to make sure he can be there with you and have him tell his work when it's closer to time that it could be anytime so be expecting a call or no show from him one day. Good luck and hope I helped a little.

first off, PLEASE use commas, full stops etc. It makes it much easier to read your question. Secondly, where do u live? The law is different for different countries
