big bang theroy if not how do you think the world or the universe started?

Its not a matter of belief, its a matter of whether or not you accept the scientific evidence which supports the big bang theory. To my mind the evidence is pretty overwhelming, and I certainly do accept it.

I beleive it is the best theory we have right now. And that's what it is: a theory. It is only a possibility. It is a valid explanation, and there will be other valid explanations coming from the scientific communtity in the future. Personally, with the choice between the big bang or some big, invisible, all-seeing, deity "god" - I choose the big bang. Where the hell could a big, invisible, all-seeing deity hide if we have a hubble telescope to prove that there isn't one anywhere near Earth? Exactly. We haven't seen one because there isn't one. And that's all deities are as well: old theories about how and why the world and the universe got here, which have since been proven wrong.

My only problems with the big bang are: if everything exploded from this dense little mass, what was there before? How did all of that empty space get there? How did that dense little thing get there? Why did it explode? What would happen when you got to the edge of the universe and kept going? Can you get to the edge: maybe it's some sort of shape that causes you to go round (like the approximate spherical shape of the Earth)? Why didn't the explosion use up more of the reactive substances that still exist now? You get the point, but I think they are just unsolved points in the big bang theory, it doesn't make it wrong, just unfinished.

I don't know how began the Universe. Nobody knows too. nobody was there. The Big bang isn't a fact of faith. No religion said about a big bang. The big bang is the theory most accepted by the science. There are many thinks to support this theory:
1. The Doppler effect shown us that the galaxies are receding. and the farther are a galaxy, the faster is receding.
So if you rewind this 'movie', a long time ago all the galaxies have to be VERY NEAR.
2. The stars can produce helium and more elements but not heavier the iron
3. supernovas can produce the heavier elements from atomic # 26 to maybe #100.
4. ONLY A VERY HIGH ENERGY CAN PRODUCE HYDROGEN FROM ELEMENTARY PARTICLES.
5. The Black holes show us that an infinite dense point can exist.
6. There are a residual radiation, in microwaves, corresponding to 3 deg Kelvin, that comes from everywhere and is not totally homogeneous. This was predict by the theory and found later.

I'm an agnostic.
Yes there is evidence for the Big Bang theory, that dwarfs the Creation view point where a "god" created it.
I do accept the Big Bang theory, and to an extent belief in it, and accept the science behind it.
But there is, in my opinion, no 100% full proof answer yet to weather is was a random process or a plan by some sort of a "god"
I am however more siding with the Big Bang than that of a "God"

Yes I do believe in Big Bang theory. But how it happened is the question. New theory called "M theory" is emerging ... It seems to explain most of the stuffs like what happened before "the Singularity" ( the moment of Big Bang ) search for
Have a look into the following video, which is very interesting...

this question if you ask me is quite hard to answer. scientists themselves took ages finding a theory behind it. but in my view, i think it just existed, still exists and is going to exist forever.

i partly believe in both big band and religious explanations about the creation of the universe. when people say it was the big band they simply mean something exploding and forming the whole universe and planets.

but as a thought think about where did it all explode in the first place? it obviously was space and it existed befre aswell. what actually caused the big band? there migt've been something that would've caused it. i think it jus is infinity. no one can really explain it. universe is forever.

but thats what i believe. everyone has a different point of view about different things.

The Big Bang hypothesis is not credible.
Far too many problems with it. They can't explain 'inflation'; they've invented dark matter and dark energy to try and make the equations work - without any evidence; and of course it violates common sense - postulating that something (everything!) came from nothing. Ridiculous really.

Check here for an alternative to the evolutionary propoganda.

The only reason that it is promoted as 'fact' is because the only alternative - Creation - is unacceptable to some - on philosphical grounds.

Creation is a much better explanation of scientifc grounds.

i beleive in the big bang theory and God as well. theres no reason that they can't go together. if the universe started out with the big bang, then what caused the big bang?God.

The big bang is now generally the accepted theory.

I believe that an asteroid hit a planet (earth) and split it in half both parts went in different directions then through time they collided and created earth. There is still a part of our earth spinning about in space with exactly the same species as us just more advanced that is where are aliens come from. THEY DO EXIST lol.
