Corsets dont help you lose body fat. All they really do is help create shape. Corsets and things like waist cinchers are designed to make the waist look smaller - by pulling everything in and keeping it in. In the old days women used to wear them alot and they would have a tiny waist because of all the pulling and pinching in the corstes did. They eventually get the waist smaller because the muscles and organs are so used to staying close together and in the shape the corset puts them in, that they staythat way.
There was a lady in the guinness book of records for having the tiniest waist ever - i think it was something like 16 inches? she walways wore the corset and it wasnt attractive at all, it actually looked really disgusting, weird, and out of place.
Corsets may help your waist look smaller and flatter, but they dont assist in he loss of body fat. Theyre really not a good idea to wear all the time either - thats where the idea of a feeble, weak female came from - all the girls back in the old days fainting and feeling light headed - because they couldnt breathe properly!

The only way you will lose body fat is if you do it by exercising or going on a calorie controlled diet.
A corsett will only push your stomach in while you ar wearing it so you will appear thinner.
