I would say someone who can both bat and bowl and, obviously, has the best chance of making the final. Andrew Symonds is my guess because if he scores around the same as another batsman he might nudge ahead by taking a wicket or a run out.
For some reason bowlers don't often get man of the match. 3/30 of ten wouldn't do it yet it is an amazing effort. I have never understood this.

It is too early to name the man of the match in the world cup final as it is not known which teams will be in the final at this stage.
If you are meaning Man of the Tournament, Mathew Hayden, Ricky Ponting. Glen Mc Grath and J.H. Kallis are the few contenders for the award..
