Vic, it won't hurt it. Most higher grades of gas also have better detergents that'll help yer engine. Have ya ever heard a pinging/knocking noise from your motor? Usually going uphill while the engine is to full operating temp.? Thad be ing. knock & means you should go a little higher on OCT. .Good Luck

The engine could desire to incur harm by making use of low octane gasoline. additionally, your gasoline mileage would be worse with the decrease octane. bear in mind you're in charge for the maintenance of the vehicle for the time of the hire besides, and any placed on and tear upon turn in. you're "destroying" your money by leasing. on the tip of the 26 months, what do you have? not something, no fairness, not a element. till your organization factors a motor vehicle allowance, then its ok, yet leasing isn't the suited thank you to circulate. Oh, and one greater element.... do you many times do what your pals do? if so, you're vulnerable.

Although it is not harmful, running a higher octane than recommended has no benefit (except to the oil company and distributor who sells the higher priced fuel at a higher profit...)

Check your manual/guide book if it says use 87 only the you should use 87 only anything higher than that could or will cause pinging.
