You are probably not using the normal shortcut to launch Internet Explorer. Right-click on the shortcut you are using to launch IE and select Properties, in the window that appears click on the Shortcut tab and look where it says Target, if you see the word "-extoff" (without the quotes) at the end of the line then simply delete it so you are left with something like "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" Click OK. Next time you launch IE your add-ons will work.

Click Tools menu, choose Internet Options
Choose Programs tab and click the manage add-ons button
change all of the add-on to become enabled and click ok
