He also had ethical problems with Elijah Muhommad which caused a split and eventually, would have caused problems within the Nation of Islam here in the USA. So, it's my opinion that the assasination came from somewhere in the top leadership of the Nation of Islam. Malcom X's Biography was written by Alex Haley who spent many many days with him and was the only one authorized by Malcom to my knowledge. Alex is the same guy that did "Roots" soooooo many years back, but who's skill in writing was for a very, very good read. I would also recommend the movie with Denzel, it followed the book quite well, and I don't think Spike Lee or Denzel would deviate from truth. Enjoy as I did.
