I bought a retro chair worth £250 for a fiver. that was the best I bought a 'retro western shirt', which turned out to be a ridiculously huge line dancing shirt which stank like an obese old man had died in it and then it had been stored in the loft for ten years and then thrown out into the garden for a few more before someone thought, 'i know i could sell that to some idiot on ebay'. That was the worst. I also bought an actual fox's tail aswell thinking it would be something else, so i threw it at someone.

I've bought that many things. Errm. For their silver wedding anniversary, I got my sister a boxed pair of antique silver goblets and then as an extra, I got my brother in law the winners cup from the 1901 London Run (He's from ... down there) and put on a message that it was for 27 years of knowing me without being arrested for GBH.
The worst thing. We, the staff, used to put a show on for our ladies and gentlemen at the Home every Christmas and one of the girls was finding it hard to find a cheap bowler hat, so I bought what I thought was going to be a cheap bowler hat, it turned out to be a post card of a gentleman wearing a bowler hat.
I learned from that experience and read the descriptions very carefully but I buy and sell on Ebay every day. Infact, I have some customers waiting for their stuff now.....
Just a few more questions

I have a combination of both best and worse. I have been after Laura Biagiotti Venezia for about 10 years now and I bought a tiny minature of it (through eBay) for £40 from some1 in Germany, I never received it, I complained and it got me nowhere, I'm still devastated about it as I still can't find it anywhere in the shops or the internet and I wouldn't risk eBay again Does any1 know where I can get any safely? Please? Worse for obvious reasons, best cos I thought I'd finally snared some :-(

Loads of good things, the best would probably be bargains for my wedding like favour boxes, much cheaper than from "wedding sites". The worst, hmmm...I have bought clothes that looked great, including a brand new dress with the labels still on, but when I wore it work one day the zip just unravelled, nothing to do with me being fat, I'm a size 6, but it opened right up and my underwear was on show, I had to pin it up with safety pins and it looked like that dress Elizabeth Hurley wore with all the pins up the side. I got odd looks at work that day.

Best thing - brand new greenhouse. Seller only lived 8 miles away so within 6 hours of the bid, the thing was up in the garden!! Fabulous bargain - saved about £400
Worst thing - anything that's claimed to be new but clearly isn't when it arrives - doesn't happen often though.
Ebay is fantastic - especially for people who are stuck at home. Bargains to be had by all!

best thing i bought off of eBay well 2 things . The avent naturally express bottle and baby food warmer and a fisher price bassinet swing that swings automatically . The worst thing i bought was the avent naturally express electric bottle sterilizer . My bottles came out better looking by just washing them in soap and bleach water and letting them air dry . That machine stressed the plastic and left a white ring on my bottles . I was soooo mad !!!

I bought a really beautiful oil burner of a wiccan design made up of three standing figures representing the three stages in a woman's life, the maiden, the mother and the crone in a circle holding the glass dish for the oil over the candle. It's really beautiful.
