I love it that they are in the 8th seed! They beat the Mavs 4-0 this season, so they might actually have a chance to beat the supposed best team in the NBA. It will make for an interesting playoff series.

I totally agree. I'm so excited as they are facing the Dallas Mavericks in the first round. Golden State has beaten the Mav's during the season, and I watched those games and when the Warriors catch fire, they can blow a game open! Although they are the hottest underdog team now, I don't think that they can win more than 2 games against the Mav's. They lack playoff experience and don't have the bench depth. They'll put up a good fight and it will be very interesting to see how much Dallas struggles and if the Warrior can pull off an upset.

Yeah, they're impressive and it's good to see them back into the playoffs. There was a time in the 70's when the Warriors were perennial playoff contenders, and remember that they won the championship in '75. They had some sort of a resurrection in the early 90's with Chris Mullin, but faded into oblivion thereafter. They should do well this year because of Baron Davis' inspired play.

aint it great!?!?!!! im so excited right now that i dont think i can sleep tonight! lol. even though ive been a fan for as long as i can remember, this season i was very impressed. the team we have right now is crazy good... from an unbelievable start, struggling through all those injuries, and then becoming the greatest cinderella story of the regular season coming back with the amazing push for the playoffs at the very end! woooo warriors!

I was going hyphy watching them the last few games. They've earned this playoff appearance, and if they play their game they have legitimate chance of beating mavericks, and then who knows. Anyway it's definitely something they can build on. They have very good core, future bright. GO WARRIORS!

i am... not only are they a great underdog story they play the mavs and swept the season series agianst them 3-0... should be an exciting series that hopefully goes to 7...

Not really. They went 42-40 and barely made the playoffs.They are also the 8 seed and are going to get killed by the Mavs, then forgotten by all but there fans. Thumbs down all you want but that's the truth.

i was surprised. i didn't expect it. i thought the clippers were the ones to make it to the playoffs. i'm sure the playoffs this season is gonna be very exciting
