I bought ticket #42 of a book of scratchers... #46 was a $4 million winner.. found out the next morning when I went in for a cup of coffee on my way to work ... sooooooo close :)
Oh Well.. won $10,000 a month later at a different place.
Paid off a bunch of bills.. haven't gambled since.

I won a $10,000 jackpot playing poker at a local casino in Los Angeles County. Walked in with $40 and left with 10 grand. That was the only time.

no but last week the day before my nerd boys 8th birthday we was panicing because after bills were paid that day we were down to 2 dollars and had no presents. We spent it on a 2 dollar scratcher and won 100 dollars, we were so happy so I ran and cashed it and went shopping.

No, I don't spend enough to win big. Many..many..years ago my grandmother did win $13,000. One thousand for each grandchild and the rest to to breast cancer.........
