Maybe she can for her star power, but when you think really deeply and seriously if a talk show woman can run for office and succeed. The answer is no. She does not have any political office experience and that would be a giant disadvantage for her.

True, you do need political experience and stamina to gain people's trust, respect and ultimately their votes. But, you do not need to be a politician to be president or mayor.

I can say that you can have a politician's brain but not their body.

You can think like one but not really act like one.

This quote really rings true...

"Three cooks spoil the broth."

NO! Come on I think Oprah is an extremely powerful TV personality and I think she's good at what she does but I don't think she would ever consider running for Presidency. Leave the Presidency to those with experience.

I don't know why not...-Or, why she would. She has a heck of alot more power & influence doing what she does now- than if she were elected to some high Office (& the money she's making now is a LOT better- too!!!). I don't think her Race is much of an issue- anymore. She's SO well known & respected- winning an elected Office would be no big deal.

She certainly could...but why would she want to? She is already rich and makes much more than she would in any political office and her job now is much more interesting and easier. But you can never say never. Have to wait and see...
