x-7 - 4(x-7) / (x-7)^2

= x-7-4x-28 / (x-7)^2

= -5x - 35 / (x-7)^2

Do you mean this whole quantity raised to the 2nd power, or just the second term, or just the (x-7)? I'll assume you mean
( 1/(x-7) - 4/(x-7) ) ^2

In this case the denominators are the same inside, so simplify it to -3/(x-7). Then squaring this, you get 9 / (x-7)^2

1/(x-7) - 4/(x-7)^2
= (x-7 -4)/(x-7)^2
=(x-11)/(x-7)^2
