Ive got a wife and I have never felt more lonely, than I do now.all she does is bit*ch at me , so I try to stay away from her as much as I can.(the hen pecked husband.) and you ask why do I take the bullsh*it from her, I have not figured that out yet myself.)

Good thinking...they are not the same.
See, I live alone but I am never lonesome. I have a great dog, two ducks, dwarf hamster and a great cat. Sometimes I get lonely for human conversation , tho! lol

maybe they are the same. Some people confuse being "alone" with being "lonesome" or with having no friends.

Would I tell someone if I needed company or an ear to listen? sure I would. Doesn't mean they will listen or pick up on my que though.

Sure I would...
Right now, I am enjoying my solitude...but I let my friends know when I miss them and am feeling too lonely:) It usually means I need to have another day out or in with them

I would mention it if that person would be good company for me at that moment and the person was willing to spend some time with me. I am very low key about asking for my own needs to be met.

I have been lonely and I have told people. It is nothing to be ashamed of.

I'd probably call up a relative and tell them, then we'd talk for awhile, so I wouldn't feel that way anymore.
