It is horrible that because of a twisted mind so many young students and professors as well had to die. Even if one is thinking that a particular person is strange and even violent, no body is really thinking he might be a killer. My heart goes out to all students and families who are troubled right now. I hope that such an incident never repeat its self anywhere in the world

The hours passed into Tuesday and more facts came out: the names of victims and the gunman, the weapons used, some of the thinking by police after the first shootings and that an emergency alert system in development is not yet operational.
But questions persist, not least what happened during the two hours between the first shootings in West Ambler Johnston Hall and the larger massacre at Norris Hall. On what evidence did campus police conclude the campus was safe during that time? How did the gunman make it a half-mile across campus unstopped? Why didn't the school notify students and staff sooner? What crisis plans did the school have in place and were they followed? What measures has the school implemented since last fall's manhunt of an escaped prisoner? People want answers to those questions immediately, but it will be a slow process of discovery.Perhaps it will turn out officials failed spectacularly. There could be cause for resignations and firings. Or, perhaps officials responded appropriately to what they knew at the time, and nothing could have prevented a lone shooter from bringing hell to the tranquil hills of Southwest Virginia.

This is an act of domestic terrorism, if you look at the details. It is suicide bomber, who chose to use traditional weapons instead of a backpack full of explosives. There is really no difference. I am sad to see this kind of terrorism growing in the USA.

I blame his parents they knew their son was sick in the head but yet they let him be around other people.I also would hold the doctors accountable for letting him be an out patient . There is so much blame to go around and someone will be
held accountable for this.
