We get no more sympathy than any others. It's just that this is a top story, as all top stories run through their life cycles. I give it another week to be over, two weeks tops. And for your information, I did not shed a single tear over this incident.

Well you question has no basis, unfortunate coutries get human releif from developed countries all the time. Also, violent killings in some countries occur daily, where as in the US, violent mass killings such as this, do not happen like this very often. Therefore it gets media attention all over North America. Thats prolly why you feel this way, it doesnt happen alot, but when it does, its a huge thing. and for those of u (cuz i no sum smartass will try) who are gonna say "people die in america everyday man" i said violent MASS killing. theres a difference.

Whenever young people lose their lives needlessly it is a tragedy and I don't think it matters which country they are from,my heart always goes out to their families, hopefully we haven't become so hard and cynical in this world that we cant sometimes stop and remember that everybody is loved by someone and it doesn't always come down to nationality.

and yet more strawmen from the pseudo-intellectual faux humanitarians. This question has been asked a dozen times now.

None care? Based on what evidence? These questions are supiciously getting troll-like rather than legit.

Hmm, I remember a lot of sympathy being put forth for the Madrid bombings, the bombings in Bali, every suicide bomber in Israel, recent train wrecks in India, Tsunami victims, London subway incident, Darfur, Croatia/Serbia...

Do I need to go on?

Because we are American and the School was in America, thats why! Are you saying we should cry over the people who die in drug wars, in the Mid East, in Africa? Why? we pay enough for all the dying in other countries. How do I know? because they take it out of my check every week.
