What do you think if I bring in Uranium Ore to my school for a presentation?
I plan to talk about uranium and its different uses.
Does this sound like a cool project to present?

It will be a low level uranium ore; its for my metallurgy class.

Better check with your science teacher first. He may want to check the radioactivity of the ore to make sure that industrial limits are not being violated.

It would be interesting ,but potentially dangerous. Probably not the best of ideas, especially as most school-age students, if they came in possession of such a sample, would do something stupid, whether intentionally or not.

I don't think that you should be in possession of such a thing and I don't think that it is a good idea to take it to school.
I am not a teacher so, I advice you to ask a chemistry teacher or the principal.

I think the teacher will give you an A+! You should bring enough for everyone to be able to have their own sample. If you don't, you will have to break your sample to share it. My guess is you don't have enough right now.
