If you bought the computer from a manufacturer such as Dell, I am sure they have all the hardware logged that would be inside your computer. You could call them with your serial number and find out everything you need to know.

If it is a brand new Motherboard, it will have all the specs on the box or on the manual for the mother board in the box.
