I didn't see anything on the news, I watch Fox new cable. I was wondering about the same thing.
I know his parents are grieving over their son's suicide, and feel terrible about the shootings of 32 adults. They are obviously too embarrased to come out and make a statement. I personally think they should, but apparently they are ignoring the issue as the have ignored their sons mental state all these years.
They are not personally responsible, but they are responsible by default.
What a tragedy.
I just read goffy's answer. If the mother said "her son was a great kid". I wonder what Hitlers, mother would have said about him???????

the shooter is the only one too blame becasue he shouldn't do some thing like this for a girl/a grade (in accordance to what i heard) and then kill himself too.... thats ill and incorrect... , yet in accordance to scholars and school and stuff, whilst the shooting 1st occured, they made no notifications to the scholars, all they did grew to become into despatched emails to them approximately it, and to beware, which they did not recieve untill an hour later. the secure practices and the virginia tech human beings could've tried greater durable on spreading the be conscious, not basically by using an e mail. they could've like spark off an alarm or some thing, and evacuated the full campus. What if between the scholars did not open there e-mails that day or recieve it or some thing? they could've additionally tried to discover the guy and seize him (notwithstanding, from what i study, for some reason, they did not understand who it grew to become into untill he killed anybody and then himself.....) yet i've got self belief(and so does fox and stuff) that they did not attempt confusing adequate to guard the scholars..... becasue in the event that they did deliver out genuine indicators, messages, alarms, and alert and stuff.... and Evacuated the campus, and acctually tried finding for the guy, then they could've captured him, and then he does not have dont the different shooting.... then much less human beings might've died which might've been alot greater suitable. (nonetheless unhappy yet greater suitable) yet definite... God Bless the souls of the ineffective, the individuals who misplaced somebody.... and all the sufferers that went by using this horrable nightmare.

You know I've been thinking about that too. On my local news channel, they should where they lived and worked. I thought that was a horrible thing to do. There is also an article I saw on the Internet that says where his sister works. My heart goes out to his family. They are not only grieving the loss of their son, they are also trying to accept the fact that their son is responsible for such a heinous crime. I can't imagine how the families and friends of the victims must feel, let alone Cho's family.

Only that they were in hiding.
But I am curious as well as to what they did to incite such seething anger, paranoia and resentment in Cho.
Are they just ignorant that they don't realize that their son was not normal and needed help? Every teenager bitches about their parents, but who did Cho complaint to? No one and this tragedy happened.

Why are you interested in his parents? Whatever they did to bring him into existence or pass on genes (nature) or nurtue to him has been done and cannot be undone. I feel sorry not only for the ones he killed but also his parents no matter who or what they are.
