I have had a ball python for over 2 months now, and not once has he defecated in his cage. I have to take him in the tub and wait about half an hour until he goes. Im not aggravated, I just want to know how long is normal before a snake is supposed to go, or if I should just leave him alone about it.

Ball or Royal Pythons can go anywhere between a week and a month after eating, before defecating.. sometimes longer.
Check the temp in the viv and make sure your not keeping him too cold as snakes need warmth to kick start digestion..

My retic used to do the same thing, then I just left him in his cage and he did his thing. It depends on the size of his meal and how often he nomally goes, perhaps check with the person you got him from to ensure he's not later than usual or something, but I doubt there's cause for big concern.
