I have the list in front of me with all the details.. check it out on Australian news site: www.dailytelegraph.com.au

4 victims were black, one was killed helping the first victim

3 were asian

25 were white

4 in total were professors the rest all students

most of the students were aged 20-24

nearly all those killed were special. some were gifted athletes some on scholarships. two girls were champion dancers, one a champion musician.. most were engineering students and were highly intelligent types.. many of the males were sports types some with high aclaim in their sport..

it could still be sporadic though because most of the students were white.. so the ratios are probably about right.. except that he seemed to target talented types..

It's the stupid political correctness and sensitivity to race that enabled this guy to do what he did. It's not about what race the students are, its cultural/religous/philosophical, and it was a state school, so it's not ivy league. But trying to "spin" the coverage as a simple domestic dispute, is one reason there was a killer running around campus two hours after the first shooting without the campus being alerted or locked down. That IS "criminal negligence" if there ever was an example.

Huh? What lone black man? And what does it matter how many were black and how many were white...they were all killed and equally dead!

And the killer was Asian...not black...if you were meaning him.

He was a troubled, mentally unstable person and probably should have been asked to leave the college long before this happened.

Would you like your son put in a room with him? I sure wouldn't! When they learned he was first causing problems, he should have been out the door!

But I don't understand why what color each person was would matter. They were all people with their whole futures ahead of them...and now they don't.

No that is not true. The 19 year old white girl died first. Then the black man who was a R. A. was killed trying to stop the killer from harming the white girl. Overall it was 32 white people and one black man. It's always one. I'm not for certain, but I would be willing to place a bet on that.

I am so sick and tired of everything
always being turned into a racial issue! It DOESN:T MATTER what race they were,. They're still dead!!
For crying out loud, when are people going to drop this whole race issue?? Those that keep bringing it up are the ones that have issues with it. I don't have issues about race. I have friends of many races.
If everyone would just try to get along instead of always pointing out everyones difference, we would have a much nicer society.
Tryit, just for one day. Try not to think of anyone you meet or see as not being from a certain race.......think of them just as human beings. Do it for one day. Then for the next day and so on. It's really easy.

Mixed races so far but not all have been ID'd yet. The killer was a lunatic freak who probably fantasized about it. There should be some kind of screening process at the schools/colleges/universities everywhere now. Something that shows predisposition to being a freak out.

i know i may come off as an @ss when i say this, but honestly, does it really matter how many white/black people were killed. Cant it just be sad enough that anyone (despite their color) had to be killed in the first place?

They had a lot of victims faces and names on television. Why does it matter who was black and who was white?

33 humans died in a psychotic crime. Meanwhile, we are trivialising about the colour of the victims. Yep, the apocalypse is upon us...

Why do ppl ask these things? Are you just looking for trouble?
They were all human beings and they are all dead. Does anything else really matter?
