Yes! I used to have a life. I would only log on now and then. It took me 6 months to accumulate 10,000 points and reach Level 6 even though I get a fair number of "best answer" awards because I try to be thorough, informative and at least semi-interesting.

Then, March 17th, I reached Level 6 and became obsessed with seeing just how fast I could reach Level 7. Now my dog is ready to divorce me; my family and friends are planning an intervention; and I'm here wondering what I can do to score a few more "best answer" awards. Sad, isn't it?

I hate to say this and hope it doesn't offend anyone but I'm beginning to feel like an "answers wh*re." If I log in (which I do several times a day) and don't have at least three (3) notices of "best answer" in my inbox, then I'm bummed.

I was logging in before breakfast, as I waited for the coffee to brew. I would log in from work during coffee break. I would log in during my lunch hour if I can. I log in as soon as I get home from work.

I told myself that this madness MUST end and promised myself that I won't do this after I reach my coveted goal: 25,000 points and Level 7! However, I’ve reached and surpassed that goal yet find myself logging in here and there to earn “just a few more points.” I gotta look into finding the Answers Rehab and checking myself in!

Look how many points I have and you'll see that I enjoy unwinding with Y/A probably a bit too much. Still, it's interesting to me and I am still able to be productive with work, my kids, and other responsibilities. I think you asked a very good question though, because this really can be addicting and I do have to be careful myself not to spend too much time here. I'm just glad others feel the same way.

I can't wait for Tuesday to roll around because that's when the new movies come in at Hollywood. I start to watch a movie then I start thinking about Q&A and right in the middle of the movie I pause it and go answer more questions. It takes a good day to watch one movie.
