If there is a person with a GUN killing people with a GUN I don't think a locked door is much of an obstacle. And telling people to huddle away from the windows and doors TOGETHER just makes it easier for the gun man to kill more people because they are all close and easy targets.

i completly agree. We had a lockdown in school today. it is useless, if sombody is going to shoot you, might as make them look for you.
New idea*** Boxes in classrooms... easy places to hide...
Make the crazed gun man become distracted... then jump him.

Or...there could be multiple gun toters, and once you've loked them in with the other students, how safe can it really be?

My thoughts are, I'm glad you're not in charge, because lock downs are very effective.
