oh yeah i love shopping in the produce section and I am partial to cucumbers, squash, zucchini, oh and bananas..... ;-)

When I was a baby, grocery stores in NYC were not air-conditioned. My mother had to park me outside, because I gagged and puked in the produce section. Yes it was safe in a tight-neighborhood sort of way.

Darn I was going to use my high squeaky typing until you said it was okay to answer.
There is nothing quite as satisfying as checking out a couple of melons to see if they are ripe of not.
But, why is it when I ask a woman to hand me some lettuce she always slaps me?
