Last month my period fell on March 10th.... Today is April 19th and I still haven't gotten my period.. ever since I ever started having a period I have always gotten them around the same day as the month before... I took a test yesterday (18th) that was a generic from the grocery store for $1.. it came back negative... I have been cramping like I am going to start my period but it never has came.. I have been doing this off and on since April 2nd... We are trying to have a baby... and are curious as to what everyones opinions are out there.. that maybe have experienced this or may know what is going on.. please send me answers! Thanks!

Maybe you are pregnant! Why don't you try to test again in a few days and try not to buy the $1 store pregnancy test. I heard First Response is a good brand, check it out. Congratulations in advance, and Good Luck!

I would take another test. That test may not have been as sensitive to the HCG hormone as others. I bet you are pregnant as it has been 40 days since your last period, and that is a little long. I felt as though I was going to start my period for a couple of weeks before and after it was due, and I never got it. The sypmtoms are similar to those of a period so many women think they'll get their period and then they skip it and find out they are pregnant. Good luck.

You might just have skipped your period or its late or something. If your ever under any type of stress. It can throw your period off an entire month. Usually they say if you hang around certain women their periods cycle together. Sounds like you might just be having your period late and maybe go for a walk, exercise and do something, relax maybe in the tub. Try to take Midol or something for the cramps. You might start on your own. My roommate had this problem. Or maybe have sex with your significant other that could spark things along. Good luck.

Surprisingly, the cheapy tests from Dollar General are the most accurate so your probably not pregant. That being said, some women never have postive urine pregnancy tests even though they are in deed pregnant.(my friend) I would wait another week and test again. If it is still negetive, but no period, call and get a pregnancy blood test preformed. There's no foolin that test!

Wait a few days and then test again. Sometimes the test won't read positive until you are a few weeks pregnant. Hopefully there is a baby in your very near future!

Well, gee... maybe you're pregnant or your period is just late? Why don't you just take a pregnancy test or go to the doctor instead of asking stupid questions on Yahoo! answers? How the hell are we supposed to know that you are pregnant?

I would take another test in a week, if you are pregnant that should give enough time for teh HCG in your urine to show up. Doesn't matter how cheap the brand is, it matters how much HCG they detect. Good luck.

It doesn't matter how much the test cost, if you're pregnant, you're pregnant.
The thing you want to do with the test, though, is take it first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up and have to pee.

do not worry .if you are not prgnant as the test reorted you will get your period. some time in an ovuatory cycle period gets delayed.
