It can be painted. Long as it has dried out for at least 2 seasons. You should power wash the wood first. If there is any dirt, mold,Greece, or stains. Let it dry a day.
You want to make sure the OIL BASED KILZ will adhere to the treated wood. Use POLYURETHANE caulk for the splits in the 4x4's,decking,rails or where ever there are gaps. This stuff is the bomb!! It works well. If you want to paint the wood a color...make sure you get the people at the store to tint the Kilz to the color your going to finish coat your project.
I highly recommend Sherwin Williams "SUPER PAINT" for your finish. This is an outstanding exterior paint with UV blocker in it. If you take the steps I told you..I would almost be willing to offer you a 10 yr warranty without me even doing the work. This is your solution and recommendation...
P.S. Always work away from the sun when painting. " Start in shaded area's" Good Luck

Pressure treated wood can be painted, but the green must bleed out. It needs to be in the sun / exposed to the elements for roughly 6 months, depending on your climate, before you can paint it. Then, prime with Kilz - the ONLY primer to use. Once that's done, paint away. It will be fine.

Yes you can, however it would be better if it were weathered. However, you need to put on a stainblocker first otherwise the green will bleed thru especially if you wanted white. Something like KILZ from General Paint will do you. After that dries then you can put on what you want.

Yes but it's Best to let it age about a month from when you build something with it so it will let paint penetrate the surface. you can use any paint you want I've used satin latex and it lasts for years

Yes, you can paint it, but only after it has aged (dried out) for a few months.
