Definitelly work on your 40 yrs dash..
You got a good height and weight...
Dont lift too much just a little cause weight might slow you down
Learn how to catch an individual face to face and tackle..without letting them get away.
you could be other positions too though..since your tall..
IT sucks to be 5'8 , positions are so limited for me :(

don't get burnt deep, get cocky, get tough, talk smack and get in ur opponents head at all times. If ur 173 then u should jam every receiver at the line, take him to the sideline and out of the play, and if u are losing the jam then play off and never let all ur weight go back on ur heels, cus ur burnt if u do, read the qb while keepin the WR in front of u and just play ball man, be confident and it will come...

Definately maintain a quick 40 time.
Know the 9 receiver routes upside down and backwards.
And go for the ball every time it leaves the QBs hand...thats your money

speed is probably the first thing you want to work on right now. the next aspect you want to develop is the ability to tackle, this is crucial. the last aspect that the school will help you on is awareness. the rest comes from experience.
make sure you eat healthy and exercise regularly from here on out.

I hope it is a small division 3 school because at your size you'll get chewed up and spit out at anything bigger. Even at a division 3 school the team trainer will be bigger and better built than you////good luck.
