Craigslist, the Recycler, the Hollywood Reporter. Newspapers in the L.A. area; The Daily Breeze, The L.A. Times, The Daily News. Hope that helps. Break a leg!

Each city is different. Join an acting class and network with actors in the class, they already know the ropes and can help you.

You have to move to Hollywood if you want to audition in Hollywood.

Look in Backstage.com for auditions.

The web is where it's at now. By the time the notices hit the papers, the part is often cast. Check out Backstage.com or nowcasting.com

Try backstage.com. A lot of the stuff in there is reserved for subscribers only, but there are free listings, too.
