sometimes i feel like i buy so much eyeshadow, lipgloss or lipstick that all the colors seem to look alike. i mean how many shades of pink, bronze or gold colors can one have? i wear the brown family on my eyes and lips so much it all tends to look the same.

OMG I'm such a compulsive makeup buyer, I'm sure I've spent over a grand in the past year just on makeup. I feel really terrible about it, but when I look at my makeup collection I feel like a movie star. I always try to buy different things, never the same colors. My big thing is eye shadows, I swear I must have every shade ever invented. I get a lot of compliments on the way I do my makeup though, so I think it's worth it. It's never wrong to invest in your beauty :)

Yah I do. I'm like you, girl! But who cares, let's put it on and enjoy life :)

Office make-up is neutral shade. I try to wear a different shade of make-up during weekend. I use pinks, blues and shiny colors when I go out for the weekend.

Make up is one of those things that really make me happy, I could spend hours looking at it, and when you get home and put it on to go out for the first time, is so much fun all over again. So in my opinion as long as you are not buying it in bulk orders you are fine.

Yeah I have the same problem. I buy like 10 lip glosses that are almost the same thing, same with all my other makeup. I think its just a girl thing, but not really a bad thing.

I know what you mean. I'm a product junkie. I always think maybe this one will be different or "the one". And the truth is they look very similiar. And if they are out of a certain color range & try it, it just doesn't look good on me(I know better, but I buy it anyways). I think it's the packaging just calling me.;) But I'm trying to get better.:)

I buy makeup like Angelina Jolie adopts kids: compulsively!

Just today I bought about $300 worth at Sephora that I'll probably never use.

yea sometimes.
switch it up a bit from browns all the time
it might change that feeling of having too much make up
depending on your eye color try some shades that will make your eyes stand out.
experimentings always fun =]

When I'm buying another cute little pretty package, I think no.
Then, when I get home, use the product once or twice and toss it in my "makeup I don't use drawer", I realize, yes.
But you know what, I never mind (hubby does though, lol) because in that moment I'm buying something new, I'm having FUN!!!

Yep! If it weren't for make-up, I wouldn't be broke!

Unfortunately, I've got a whole closet full of the stuff! I should've gone to beauty school, and made some money off of it all!

yes I'm always doing this.
but when I'm in the shop looking at something, i always think how different it is from what i have already got. once i get home i realise how much it looks like the one i already have.
i have to stop compulsive buying lol...its so hard though. we think we need so much stuff, when truthfully we know we can survive with the minimum.
