Samba
Cha cha cha
Mambo

I don't see why you needed to yell at WWD. I think you didn't take the time to read his answer. Tango is of latin origin, that's what he said. Ballroom Tango is not a latin dance, and Agrentine Tango is too special to categorize. It is considered a Nightclub dance, along with Salsa and Merengue if you wish.

Salsa is definitely the most fun for me out of the ones you mention. Tango is great and intense, but only with a great partner. And Argentine is way better than ballroom!

Favorite's rumba, most fun is cha cha, and neither's on your list. Of those listed, tango's my favorite (it's generally not considered a Latin dance despite the geography, though, in any of its forms) and samba most fun.

I happen to be a big fan of flamenco. I've seen some great performers, in person and on film and collected records by composers such as Sabicas and others.

But as a dancer, my cha cha was my claim to fame--it was the only dance I could do well--one of the few dances I enjoyed doing.

Isn't the Paso Doble a Latin dance? That would be my fav sorry its not one of your choices but I think that would be the most fun to do!

Of the ones you listed, my favourite is samba, but my overall favourite is Rumba. I love to watch Paso Doble, but have never danced it. Jive is a lot of fun to dance, but also, not listed.
