I believe I was watching the CBS news report of the VT shootings, and one figure was articulating his thoughts on school safety. He basically said schools should be a safe haven, and there is no need for basically having it set up like a prison. That incidents like VT are a price we pay for our freedoms. Does anyone know the way in which he articulated the idea that our schools should not be like prisons? Or at least can they say it better than I did?

If schools became like prisons then why not work places? Why not the amusement park? Why not a regular park? Why not a portal potty?
