Each awnser should be different based on what you are applying for. If I'm applying to be a VP of a bank, my awnser would be different than yours. Just remember, never talk bad about any other job, and ask yourself..why do I want to work for you? That question will really help you awnser the question. If you have a strong desire to work in that field, your core beliefs will guide you through the interview! good luck!

Tell them why you want to work there. What is it about the position that appeals to you (besides money). Do you like kids? Are you interested in science? Don't lie, be honest, but keep your response focused on the duties of the position, and not why you need a job.

I like what your company does for the public, its consumers, etc. I believe that it's a line of work that will allow my best work abilities to thrive.I want to work for a company that is the best at what they do, and that's why I came here to apply for a job.

Tell them it's your dream job. It worked for me! Just tell them that you are interested in children and science and give them an idea of how serious you are about staying. They want to know if you are going to be there just for the summer and if you are going to be excited or responsible about showing up. Don't say you just want some extra cash. It makes you look like you don't care about the job.

If you don't know the answer to that question, maybe you should look for work elsewhere, cos if you don't know why you want to work there, they're going to notice and probably not hire you, cos you'll seem like you don't really want to work there, ergo, you'd make an unreliable employee. That will be the case for every job you interview for. Keep that in mind.
