They should have waited in order to have it analyzed by specialists then aired sometime later with the analysis, commentary, and summary thus defusing his attempt to be a media star while at the same time giving a more indepth view of the factors that create such tradgies

I even heard someone on MSNBC say a little while ago that Cho's murders were a copycat of the Columbine killings because he mentioned the Columbine killers in his manifesto! What a load of crap! They need to stop glamorizing what this psycho did and get on with things. Surely there is more news than this in the world today! But, all they are covering is VT and what this guy did, even talking to his roommates from last year, like they know anything. How he acted last year has nothing to do with how he acted the other day - and that is all that matters. It's time to get on with things and let the friends and families of the victims mourn in peace!

I think You're right . They're into ratings and money. O n the otherhand by spreading information about how distrurbing cho is, we all can be more aware of his heinious mental issue. So up to certain level, we can prevent the similar thing from happening in the future if we spot the similar occurences in behaviors of our friends, family, etc. THis thing happen also due to universities' lack of alert considering Cho displayed his hatred before perpetrate this massacre

Absolutely I agree. NBC SUCKS for doing this. Last week they are the litmus test for what's offensive and what's not, and they raked Imus over the coals for what he said. Do they not think this is offensive to the vast majority of Americans, not to mention the victim's families. Look how they plastered they logo all over the psycho's manifesto, proudly asserting their ownership of the material. I'm offended, but do they care? NO! Just more disingenuous hypocrisies from the left-wing out-of-control media in this country.

The media likes the rating. By the way, this is a hot news for the media especially involving shooting and the rating will go over the roof.

NBC might as well run a commerical saying that if you are a lunatic and want your manifesto to run on air in front of millions just kill some people and mail in your video.
