Go down to Wal-Mart and buy the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Creme pregnant women. I can't say that it cures you from getting them. It is all based on the make up in your genes on how prone you are to getting stretch marks. Drinking a lot of water helps to keep your skin more elastic too. I used cocoa butter during my pregnancy but still got stretch marks. It's been almost 4 years and they are still there but not as noticable. Good luck and remember, beauty is on the inside!

I'd recommend buying yourself a bottle of 100% pure jojoba oil and rub this into your stretchmarks twice a day, after exfoliating the area with a gentle exfoliating scrub or exfoliating gloves in the bath or shower.

After you've given birth, you could start using Retin A cream (on prescription), but not during your pregnancy as it can have adverse affects on the unborn baby.

I would say try vitamin e cream, palmers for stretch marks or mederma. Laser is still going to take a while because your going to have to go for multiple treatments and heal afterwards. The key to stretchmarks is to treat them as early as possible if you wait till after you have the baby will be longer and harder to get rid of them.

since you say you are only 16, i would wait til you are 18 that way your body is really done growing, until then just use mederma cream or stretch mark cream, or tan, they will go away and most likely lighten..

congrats on the baby, i am very happy for you.
