I collect US Lincoln (Wheat back - pre 1954) pennies and I love getting postcards from people (friends and strangers) in countries other than the US.

I used to have a huge hat collection. I was up to about 400 hats. After we moved, I didn't have room for them, so my then wife sold them at a garage sale. She got 10 bucks for the whole box. I could have shot her when she told me.

I collect Postage Stamps. I have about 3000 now. It's cool I also have a small collection of coins as well.

I collect random coins. I dunno if I ever considered it a hobby since it isn't something I actively pursue. I have a fairly large handful of old/foreign coins though that I managed to find and keep hold of.
