In light of the Virginia Tech shooting it is possible that someone could of stopped him, if they had a firearm. The problem is that is currently illegal to carry a concealed weapon of any type on government property. Please tell me your thoughts on this.

Yes, but after the VT shootings the opposite is likely to happen (gun control laws will probably get tighter).

Yes! Time and again, when armed citizens are present, they have been able to stop the killing sprees. By outlawing weapons on school grounds, they have ensured that only the bad guys have guns on school grounds. That's why the body counts are so high.
I also have a concealed weapons permit and carry a loaded weapon.

Most people who have a permit are law abiding citizens so yes, government facilities should allow it if you have a permit. Even if they would allow the tasers/stun guns (with the barbs)....maybe that could have helped stop this from going further.

Absolutely. I work at a government facility and wish my cow-orkers who have carry permits were allowed to carry.

Students should not have guns on campus. Thats what security is for. Where were the security cameras? I heard there weren't any on campus.
