I was not speaking of Mr. Bush this was a general question. Those in Washington do not care about any of us that is why I asked. They only worry about the lobbiest.

Quite often, the money, and thus the votes, goes to the moron who can be maniuplated rather than the candidate with intelligence and principle.

Be sure to register to vote. Be sure go give to the candidate of your choice, in the PRIMARY, before they take away all the choices. All you can do is your little part to fight back.

If you have the courage, run for office yourself. If not, find someone you admire and talk them into running. Never give up.

I think there are two major factors,
1. money wins in the end. I think all candidates should be funded by the government, given the same money, and forced to create a workable budget. This would make everyone equal AND prove they had a clue of how to run a country.
2. The primary process is messed-up. I think all people should be able to vote in the primary elections so we have better options at the end. When the choice was down to Bush or Kerry, I gave up and didn't vote for president. I didn't want to be responsible for contributing to either candidate (there were no other candidates I wanted from the smaller parties either).

because we have become complacent, and we feel like we don't count as individuals, not in a vote or to be heard. But the saying is "United We Stand, divided we fall" We are all torn apart by our political and religious beliefs. We are being told that families are no longer the real true fabric of this country. CPS has complete unaccountable control over our children, the President has complete unaccountable control over whatever he wants...Power! We can change it if we could get all the Republicans to stop with the lazy incompetent argument about wearing a tin foil hat, and get the libs to put down their shields against the dems, and march together for the one true thing we can all agree on....FREEDOM!

No Chance of getting a best answer here....

Regardless of what you think. Nobody that would be great at being President wants the job. Anyone with brains wouldn't want the job.

Now when it comes to our government in general.

It is extraordinary.

It is amazing.

It is the best form of government that has ever been established.

Believe it or not, MOST of the people we put into power do an OUTSTANDING job.

Don't let the few jerks who show up on the news confuse you. Both parties are NESSESSARY. Neither would work on its own.

As Matt Stone and Trey Parker put it so eloquently, most elections are a choice between a douche and a turd.

As for those that want to "serve in the government," there are far better ways to serve. Wanting to be a politician is a pretty low expectation.

America is gullible, whoever can raise the most campain money and lie the best gets the office. And Americans need to stop listening to the media, they need to do the research on canidates themselves. The media says what they want to say. They dont tell the whole truth, .

Voters are being deceived by the promises of candidates that only work for their personal concerns or party interests when already in office.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Why does everyone call him an idiot? Because he stutters? Makes up words? He is up there because he has the balls to be there. It is a very stressful job and there is always tons of pressure no matter who is president. That is why you are not the president! It doesn't matter who is president our country is going to think that they are not qualified. Leave him do his job!

We choose among those who run for office. I think the politics of personal destruction makes decent people reluctant to run.
