One way it could have been prevented was in Virginia when they do a gun check they are not entitled to see a person't mental background?! Does this make sense to you? It seems this young man had slipped through all the cracks that are in the system today. What an awful tragedy. Did he not go home to his parents? I haven't seen the maifesto but I watched it on Court t.v. a lot today. shame sadness

i have seen it. and i wonder if its the first time any of his classmates ever see him talk? i think he sounds like the devil how he says "jesus loves cruxifying me and inducing cancer in my head", its very disturbing but at the same time saddening. he seems to have so, so much hatred in him which he could have easily resolved, but he didn't, he chose to kill =(. but yet again he's been pronounced as mentally ill, i think if he had seek treatment, all this tragedy wouldn't have happened. his anger and aloofness obviously turned him crazy. on the contrary, if only he had more people to care about him...would this have happened? he's born in a poor family and obviously is hard to adapt in the society where so many people are well-to-do and looks down on asians.

i think we should all lets just stop probing into what has happened right now. this is just a very unnecessary tragedy. there is no one entirely to blame. i think now we should just concentrate on those who are alive, help them forget bout the unpleasant incident and to cope on with thier lives right now.

god, i think i must have cried at least 6 times, though im living on the other side of the earth.

I haven't seen it yet. I feel bad for that boy's family, I can just imagine what they are going trough too. Everybody loves their child. And being Asian they are feeling very disgraced.
