Thoughts about pubic hair (lol)?

Question

First of all, do you think that girls should shave it all down there? It seems like it would be more attractive, but on the other hand, what about stubble and razor burns? (Advice on leg razor burn would also be cool. :-) ) When I shave down there, it grows back right away, and I mean if I wasn't celibate, that wouldn't be pretty if the guy just wanted to fairly randomly have sex with me. He'd probably be disgusted. Second of all, Brazilian waxes do take it all off quickly and efficiently, but they're expensive, embarassing, and hard to find, and wouldn't the hair grow back as normal? Why then are you only supposed to have it done once a month? Any other thoughts or advice are appreciated. (Wow, what an awkward subject!)

personally, i shave everything every day...it only takes a short time & it`s part of my daily routine, so i`m accustomed to doing it...that way, i never have stubble or anything...

Fist, let me say that how you are 'groomed' below is a personal choice. That said the best way to keep razor burn away is to use a brand new razor every time you do shave. This makes sure that you have a sharp razor and there is no bacteria on it. The hair does grow quickly but you can shave every three days or so. Waxes cannot be done alot because you must have a certain length of growth to even have this work.

Personally I bought a mens beard trimmer (i know, don't laugh) to keep it under control and a razor for the bikini line area. This way it looks 'well groomed' and doesn't play peek-a-boo with bathing suit and short shorts.

Well, to tell you the truth, most of the girls I know shave it and I do too. I think it's gross to have the jungle going wild down there. I have never waxed but know it's expensive. I have never felt razor burn there before. Mybe it has something to do with the way you're shaving, or try a different razor. Hopefully you get different results. As for stubble, well, stubble is gonna come out anywhere we shave. Stuble has never been an issue to me, but you can shave as many times as you want.

I would recommend getting a bikini wax not a Brazilian wax from your local spa. That procedure looks perfect for us in our bathing suits and everyday undergarments. Women should never showcase a lot of hair on their bodies. The most hair on us should be on the top of our head. To answer your question it would take a few weeks for your hair to grow back, but I'm sure you would keep going to the spa for touch up procedures. It is also a part of good hygiene to wax not only the pubic area but under your arms and the legs. It is not wise for us women to sport a hairy nature trail down to the forest. Waxing is the best way to go. Men like a nice clean look on women. Going to your local spa to get your eye brows arched, BIKINI wax, under arms, arms plus legs waxed should not be that expensive. Just look at it as treating yourself. You deserve it and will look fabulous. I recommend going to the spa because I've had many wax machines at home and not to say this will happen to you, but I find that they can be very messy if you are not careful. Hope this helps.

I personally don't get the whole clean shaven brazilian, i look like I did when I was born as a baby thing. I think it is a phenomenon perpetuated by the adult film industry. Or maybe that's just my san francisco girl attitude talking. It is totally personal preference really.

Anyways, I prefer the "well groomed" approach as recommended by blueangeliyz. neat and tidy so as not to show weird random hairs beyond swimsuit or underwear. Having hair down there is normal and natural. we were born with it, and if we weren't meant to have it, why do we come with it? ditto goes for this whole arm waxing bit i keep reading about.

For myself I'd rather shave it all off. I use Venus razor and it works perfect, I also use shaving creme for sensitive skin due to how sensitive it can be down there. But when it comes down to it, it's all about what you want to do. Since I've been shaving since I got my period at 10, im now 18, i don't remember the difference, but I've been told that shaving keeps it smelling fresher, less sweat on hot days which can cause odor and better for them period days (dont want to get into details).

I don't like it either, it just feels better when its shaved and also looks better. I usually go between two styles one completely shaved off or the happy trail from the belly button to the cock (just the happy trail). And the balls always must be shaven. My girl likes it that way, she is more comfortable to do oral cause no pubic hair will get in the way. Last but not least, it actually makes the cock look bigger.

I think that men should be happy that they are getting to have sex and not force a woman to shave her pubic area. You could be nice and make oral a little easier for him, but that is up to you. If a guy is worth having, then he will not care about such a minor thing.

Personally, I like a nice curly bush. I hate bald, it looks like a kid, some guys must like that look. Leave yourself natural like it was meant to be. Just trim it so it is uniform and not overflowing the pubic area.

I can;t speak for all guys, but the less pubic hair the better. Shaved is great, but at the very least....trim (as short as you can).
