What do you think about the Yankees?

I love them. I love their history, their mystique, and their uniforms. I love the way they do everything as a team. I love that every other team hates them for their success. I love that they don't tolerate any BS--just like the great city that they are from. They are the greatest team in the history of professional sports in America. Period.

The hitting is there as usual. The pitching staff has shown signs of improvement as of late. I'm not that concerned because Joe Torre has had less talent in the past and still found ways to win the division.
The defense needs to tighten up some. Far too many errors this early in the season from such an experienced ball club.

I think they are my favorite team and have the best history of any team in pro sports. No one else has as many championships, legendary players, and as many fans across the country (although Red Sox are close because of everyone jumping on the bandwagon after their fluke, wild-card aided World Series win of 2004 where the Yankees basically beat themselves). I like that they have classy players, who don't show up other teams or players. As for the "no pitching" perhaps no one has noticed that after the first five games where they were awful, they've pitched very well, and the team ERA is around 3.60, and that's WITHOUT Wang and Mussina.
Gotta love those Red Sox fans. "Yankees suck" that is very original. No one ever accused them of being smart.

I can't stand them. I hate them so much. I'm more happier when they lose than when my team wins.
Why to hate them:
1)Their fans only talk about the past and never the future. (26 WS)
2) Their owner is the biggest scumbag
3) They are the favorite to win all the time and isn't America about the Underdog or Cinderella?

They are the best team in MLB, it is the most hated team perhaps in sports because people instead of admitting they are the best, would rather hate them, 26...World Championships.........NO TEAM.............In any sports....has more.
