Can anybody be published in the Poetry.com anthologies? Are you only published if you buy the anthology? Also, does everybody who submits a poem get an offer for a Who's Who in Poetry Pin and Medallion?

I love to write poetry and think it would be great to see some of my stuff published in their anthology, and the medallion looks great....but I kinda believe anyone who submits any piece of crap poem gets the same offer.

Does anyone know if the honor is real or they just want your money?

If any "publishing company" wants you to buy what you're being published in, it's a ripoff.

If you are really interested in publishing your poetry, look up the Poet's Market books. They are a great intro into getting your work published.

It's a crock yes. Just the modern version of what, in pre-computer days, was called "Vanity Press" save your money.

Big crock. I sent them a poem about how much their poetry sucked and they insisted on printing it.

Yes, if you want to see your stuff published and your name in lights. Self- publish it yourself.

I did some work with them. . . this girl ain't happy. They just want your money. If you buy their pin and medallion, just think of it this way, you're awarding yourself and rewarding them.
