they aren't getting their own way anymore? With the power ebbing away - drip by drip by drip - their fanaticism seems to increase whilst their sense of purpose is vanishing?
No more family values to cram down everyones throat,no more tax and spend Democrats what with Bush's obscene war costs,no more we are the Moral anything,etc....
Gee-all they claimed is turned to dust by their greed,hypocrisy and love of power for it's own sake.
Could this be why one can practically feel many of them foaming at the mouth through their answers/questions ?

I don't know what country you are talking about but if it is America you are sadly misinformed. Where to begin. Well, for one thing, this is not a dictatorship. Just because one party or the other is in power does not mean that they will be able to impose their will on everyone.
The republicans have done a pretty good job in some areas and have been rather poor in others. The interesting thing for those of us who really pay attention, is that the things that the Bush administration gets low grades on from conservatives is what liberals are using to bash them on the head.
The biggest complaint I have had with president Bush has been that he was far too moderate and accommodating of the liberals in Congress. He never vetoed any of their spending bills no matter how much pork was stuffed in it. He practically let Ted Kennedy write the "no child left behind education bill" and now gets beat up by both sides.
It is really ironic but whenever a republican president is a rock ribbed conservative the republicans not only win they win in landslides. But when a republican president is moderate he either gets defeated or barely elected. Yet we conservatives are still being disappointed by our presidents.
Furthermore, the democrats have only just recently won Congress by the smallest of margins. I don't see and great rejection of conservative values. They got the Senate by one seat and that is Joe Lieberman who got a lot of republican support as an independent. And in the House, several of the new Democrat Congressmen ran as moderates or even as more conservative than the Republicans they defeated.
I think you may be counting your chickens before the hatching has commenced.

Republicans preach family values but lead all others in the following categories.
1) Molestation of their own children - especially the boys
2) Beating of their spouses - and then the cover ups
3) Elder abuse. When their parents get sick - they put them in a home and forget about them
4) Gay bashing. They would all like to pull a "mathew shepard" down deep - but don't have the guts
5) Closeted Gay Behavior. They long for the butt of another man - but won't come out. They will just bash instead
6) Cheapness. They donate to causes (other than their own fundraisers for their own parties) at 46% less than others do.
Nice work you freaks. With your evil leader(s) you really have picked a good way to live. I think you should probably work on extermination the jews too.

Your sad little view of American politics and conservatives will come to an end come 2008. After the short lived reign of one nancy polosi, you will follow the path of the clintons, jimmy carter, Linden bains johnson and crawl back into the democratic trash bin of history. Hopefully a true leader will emerge and take the nation into a direction of political prosperity neither left nor right but true to success of its citizens and this nations future.
