Economics can turn your hair gray! Usually for a business admin. you will need to take a couple micro and macro economics coures (200) level.
That introduces you to the concept of supply and demand. You will learn how to graph supply and demand curves, and understand what happens when supply or demand curves shift to the left or right.
Economics is the study of scant resources. It is the next alternative forgone. That means if you use a resouce you will not have that resource for something else (Guns and Butter).
You can use your resouces to make either guns or butter. So, how many of each do you produce?
Then you will need to take a 300 level economics course for the business administration. That is hell.
and it gets worse...because there are higher courses you will need to complete for a ba in economics.
More graphs....and it is tough. I got a 3.6 average in the 200 level course, and a 2.25 for the 300 level course. I actually wanted to drop it....and re-take the class but the professor talked me out of it because I am a business major and did not have to take any more economics for my degree.
So...take a look at some economics courses on line. Find the sylibus on line...just enter 300 level economics course and you will get some idea of what the course covers.
The math got me....so if you are pretty good at it, then you may not have as much trouble with it as I had. But that class let me know that economics would not be the degree of my choice.
Economics is not the study of assets. That would be accounting. Economics is the study of limited resourses.

Business Economics is usually taught through an economics department, while business administration is taught through a business school. Business Administration programs usually offer several majors -- marketing, management, accounting, finance, operations research, etc.
There is a lot of overlap between the finance degree and the business economics degree.
Being like Trump and working for a company like Coca Cola are mutually exclusive.

Business Econ tends to be a more technical degree than business administration, and develops more critical thinking skills due to the econ slant. Business Admin depends on the program, can be worthwhile or really fluffy. But, why not do a double major?
I'm not sure why anyone would like to be like Donald Trump. Steering your companies through bankruptcy proceedings while demonstrating every character flaw of the nouveaux riches.
