7/8 - divide a common factor for both 14 and 16 which is 2 and you will get the simplest form. 7/8 can no longer be reduced to simplest form because they no longer have a common factor.

7/8 ... but I feel like this is your homework so let's teach you. Both 14 and 16 are divisible by two. When you divide them by two they become 7/8. 7 and 8 have no common numbers you can divide them by, therefore it is the simplest form.
