Casino dealer told me and my wife not to get lost when going threw North L.V., he said it had some really unsafe neighborhoods, ridden with crime, gangs and poverty. He claimed its very dangerous for tourists like us and not to check out...Did this guy have any truth to his words, or was he misunderstood himself??

Bwwaahaaahaaahaaahaa!!!

I live In North Las Vegas. It is the older and poorer part of the community. There is NO CHANCE a tourist could get lost and wander into North Las Vegas. He sounds to me like somebody who has recently moved to Las Vegas himself and is trying to sound like the Man about town.

NLV is where your housekeepers, busboys, and grounds maintenance people live and raise their families.
Don't be frightened. North Las Vegas loves tourists too!
