Foster care & CPS do not have the best interest of the children in mind. If they give a child back to someone in the family they don't make big $$. An acquaintance had a daughter taken and his parents(her grandparents) wanted her and even filled up their pool. But the money-grubbers @cps had some excuse and sold her for $10,000. True story.
If I was in that position I'd be e-mailing every State Rep, City Rep and Major. I'd send in story to concerned networks(find them via Internet). Above all, GET A LAWYER. They will walk all over anyone w/o a lawyer. God bless & help you all.

Quite frankly, no it wouldn't be "fair", but there is obviously more to your story. In this day and age it is just too easy to uncover things like that. I suggest that the grandmother write a letter to a major broadcasting corporation, such as ABC, NBC, or Fox, and tell them her story. With national coverage, it will expedite things and the political pressure will work in her favor IF what you say is actually true.

Get the information out to the newspapers and TV stations and maybe they could do a story on it.
