Ok so my husband and I have been TTC (trying to concieve) since Feb after having a MC (miscarriage) in Jan. We tried 6 mo. b/f that and got PG in Dec only to MC a month later. We are 3DPO (Days Passed Ovulation) and in the 2 week wait between ovulation and when I can test. OK so My question is, for those who have been through this, is how did u get through the 2WW? Knowing you want to be pregnant and may or may not be? Thanks for any answers.

I've only had ONE MC and the Dr didn't want to do any testing, they will only do tests if u have 2 or 3 in a row.

Definetly try to find something else to occupy your time. I would suggest something non-baby for right now, there will be plenty of time for that later on!!! Just focus on other things that need to be done in your home or enjoy relaxing dinner with your husband. I know this doesnt help much because it will always be on your mind

I have been through the 2ww so many times in the past 8 years of TTC, and it never gets any easier. I think the best way to get through it is to always have a game plan for what the next step is. If you have a plan of action, it gives you something to focus on if things don't work out.
May I ask, have you looked into the cause of your recurrent miscarriages? This is a website I go to a lot for support with infertility, and this particular board is fo women who have had m/cs:http://www3.fertilethoughts.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39. One thing I have learned from my years on the boards is that one miscarriage is often a fluke, but two or more usually indicates a problems that is often treatable. Just a thought.
I hope this cycle works out for you. Good luck!

I didn't do well at all. I took tests almost every other day. I was completely obsessed. I don't really have any advice for you because I didn't handle it well at all. There are tons of quizzes online that will tell you if you are likely to be pregnant or not. They're kinda fun.

I'm right there with ya--I'm 4dpo and IUI. One minute I let myself get all excited and start thinking about names, etc, the next minute I'm almost in tears dreading another BFN. I try to talk to my hubby but I know he gets tired of hearing about it, lol. There is a really great website that can help pass the time -- www.twoweekwait.com

I am sort of corny but I like to garden and play with my little dogs. Garden makes me feel like I am creating beauty and life (It probably makes me a control freak huh?) It is mostly gentle exercise and it makes your yard (or windowsill) look pretty. My dogs are "the babies" for now. This is a great time to start a garden I wish you well!

Occupy yourself. Redecorate. Find a new hobby. Start working on something you've wanted to do.
The less stress you put on this, the better.
